Sewer Line Services

📷

Camera Inspection

We run a video camera through the sewer line to see exactly what the problem is — root intrusion, pipe collapse, grease buildup, offset joints — before recommending any repair.

💧

Hydro Jetting

High-pressure water jetting scours the inside of the sewer line clean. Effective for grease buildup, soft root intrusion, and mineral deposits that snaking alone can’t fully clear.

🔧

Spot Repair

When damage is confined to one section of the line, we repair only what needs fixing. We excavate the problem area, replace that section of pipe, and restore the ground above it.

🏗️

Full Line Replacement

When a line is too deteriorated for spot repair, full replacement is the right call. We replace the entire run from the house to the city connection and restore everything above it.

Warning Signs of a Failing Sewer Line

Sewer line problems don’t always announce themselves dramatically. The early signs are easy to dismiss. Multiple slow drains throughout the house — not just one — typically indicate a blockage in the main line rather than individual fixtures. Gurgling sounds from toilets or drains after flushing suggest restricted flow somewhere in the system. Sewage odors inside the home or in the yard are a serious sign the line has cracked or collapsed and is releasing waste into the surrounding soil. Wet patches or unusually lush grass in a straight line across the yard can indicate a slow leak in the underground sewer line. If you notice any of these, call us before the problem gets worse.

Tree Roots and Sewer Lines in North Atlanta

Root intrusion is one of the most common sewer problems in established neighborhoods throughout Roswell and Alpharetta. Tree roots naturally seek moisture and can find their way into even small cracks in clay or cast iron sewer pipes — common in homes built before the 1990s. Once inside, roots grow and expand, eventually causing partial or full blockages. Hydro jetting can clear roots and buy time, but if the pipe is significantly cracked, repair or replacement is necessary. A camera inspection tells us which situation we’re dealing with.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does sewer line repair cost?

It varies considerably depending on what the camera finds. A hydro jetting treatment is significantly less expensive than a full replacement. We won’t know until we look, and we won’t recommend more than what’s actually needed. You’ll have an exact price before we start any work.

Do you have to dig up my yard?

Not always. Hydro jetting requires no excavation. Spot repairs require targeted digging at the problem area only. Full replacement does require open excavation along the length of the line, but we restore the surface when we’re done.

How long does sewer line replacement take?

A spot repair can often be completed in one day. Full sewer line replacement typically takes 1–3 days depending on the length of the run and site conditions.

Can you come out today for a camera inspection?

In most cases yes, especially if you’re having active backup or sewage odor issues. Call us at (770) 239-6628 and we’ll schedule as quickly as possible.
